Is it warm enough to swim in late March?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I thought I was disneyed-out. But I find myself itching to go back. So, I think we may go back just for a few days...just a quick getaway and I am on a budget.

Unfortunately...the cost of the moderate is too pricey for me right now and they are solid booked, sooo...value resort it is. The only thing is that it doesn't have a hot tub. I need that during cold season or I may not enjoy my stay. Is it warm enough to swim at the pool in late March? The kids will enjoy the water no matter how cold it is. But as for me, I like to be in a warm water. I know all the pools are heated, but unfortunately, they don't crank it high enough during cold season.

So, is it safe to swim in late March?

It'll will be plenty warm to swim!

We used to go the first week in March every year - and somedays we could swim and some we couldn't.
But I'm sure that at the end of March you should be able to most days.

From a Canadian perspective.... it will be!!!

The temperatures next week are hovering around the high 70's and even hitting 80.

:cold:

Thanks for responding.. You see my warm is mid 80s to low 90s for me to enjoy the pool. Do you think it will be warm (mid 80s) in late March? Never been in March before.

Don't know about March, but we swam in JANUARY!! The air was 35 degrees :cold: but the water was NICE AND WARM. Note, I would have NEVER done this anywhere else. But DS really wanted to swim, so we swam. Now, the trip back to the room was TERRIBLY uncomfortable, but we can say we did it!!! :rotfl:

Oh my gosh!! 35 degrees! :earseek: YIKES!! I don't think I can do it below 60!! You are a brave mom!

I wouldn't RECOMMEND swimming when it's 35 degrees outside. But my Pooh Bear is worth it!!! Thank goodness we didn't get sick!! Again, only at Disney!!! I hope it's warm enough for you to swim with your :wizard: and princess:!! Have a GREAT trip!!!

We have been several times in March, and it was always warm enough to swim. Sometimes even a little too warm in the parks!

I love my :wizard: and princess: very much... the things we do for them.. Ahhh... but there is NO WAY..NO HOW.. I would jump in that pool with them! I think I will just watch while they are swimming in the kiddie pool or my kids can do the big pool and watch. My son can swim and my daughter wears her floaties, she usually swim near or along the edge.

I am just hoping for a mid 80s to mid 90s temp!! ::crossing fingers::

I'm hoping so too...but right now it is only in the low to mid 70's...those numbers better jump up soon...my kids plan on me taking them to a water park.....
