Is it warm enough to swim in late March?

I thought I was disneyed-out. But I find myself itching to go back. So, I think we may go back just for a few days...just a quick getaway and I am on a budget.

Unfortunately...the cost of the moderate is too pricey for me right now and they are solid booked, sooo...value resort it is. The only thing is that it doesn't have a hot tub. I need that during cold season or I may not enjoy my stay. Is it warm enough to swim at the pool in late March? The kids will enjoy the water no matter how cold it is. But as for me, I like to be in a warm water. I know all the pools are heated, but unfortunately, they don't crank it high enough during cold season.

So, is it safe to swim in late March?

We just returned last week form a split stay between POFQ and WL. We swam at both places and those pools were heated and very comfortable. The air was another story, but tolerable.

I hope so! We arrive a couple of days before Easter and we're expecting warm(not hot and humid) weather while we're there! We're staying at POFQ so if you see a filipino family of 7, say hi!

I was at the Pop Century 2/14-2/17 and the pool was wonderfully warm. The air outside was even nice during the day/early evening. For me I have to hit the pool for it to be a real vacation so I was very happy with the water temp being nice and warm. :earsboy:

Fantasia>> I think by the time all of us Michiganders see sunshine and anything consistently in the 70's we're going to be all smiles! I am sure the pools will be fine, though a late night swim might be a chilly exit to the room. I can't wait to get out of this state!

We swam on January 5th. Just depends what the weather is like I guess. :earsboy:

The temp just better be in their mid 80s to mid 90s in late March!! I don't do well in the pool when it's 70 degrees or less. But because I am stuck with the value resort, they don't have hot tub and I just hope that the pool better be warm enough to swim in it. They say it's heated. But it's not that warm. I want the water to be like in the 80s! But it only feels like 70! And that is coooold!!

Ditto that from me! We are about an hour from Pt. Huron on the Canuckistan side...I can't WAIT to put on a pair of shorts! :cold:

Unforunately, the weather won't be that warm at the end of March. The average hi is just at 80 for that time period, so there is an equal likely hood that it could be 70 or 90, though 70 is more likely than 90 since 90 would mean a record high for a particular day, and there hasn't been a record high for Orlando in about 20 years during that time period. It has been unseasonably cold in FL this past week, and it is possible it could still be or have a reoccurance in a couple of weeks. We'll be there in two weeks, and I'm just hoping for high 70's.
