For the past few years (and again next year) WDW offer us a deal at either OKW or SSR at 42% discount off rack rate plus they are again offering a 14 day ticket for the price of 7. Also includes free DDP and since 1st Sept they must be really struggling to get the bookings as they have added a free $150 gift card into the deal. All 4 offers can be combined in 1 booking.
The deal equates for us next summer to OKW at around £120/nt ($192) incl tax + tickets.
These are the only resorts available with both discount & free DDP.

Do you still have relatives in UK?
They send docs out but they could be sent on to you, docs were not required at check in, only needed to give name upto this year but next year the $150 gift card might be included in the package, unless they give that out at check in also.
Passport won't help you but UK address should work.

as Wayne posted, you need a UK mailing address (for the documents) and you also need a UK credit card - can't be a US credit card.

if you have someone in the UK who can send you the travel documents and pay for you, if you don't have a UK credit card then you can do it.
you don't need a british passport. Anyone with a UK connection could do it.

did you book with disney.uk?
disney.uk requires a UK credit card for brits. At least they used to.
Maybe it's changed.

and yes, the british deal is actually a european deal.
which i guess is why WDW was overrun by europeans when we were there (that and the weak dollar).
I've never seen so many french and italians at WDW.

and to clarify, you don't have to be british or european, you just have to have a british/european mailing address.

So, if I understand this correctly, I could use my name (plus DH and kids) on a reservation, but have everything mailed to my Dads house Maybe even convince him to pay the trip on his credit cards and pay him back (or not)

Yes that would be the easiest way for you to get this offer.

I thought I had to use the site for USA to book my vacation since I'm not in the UK. Sounds like I might get a great deal for my next vacation since I live in Europe

On the Walt Disney World website there should be a little box in the bottom left that says 'Select an International Version' - you click that & then click onto 'United Kingdom: English' which will take you to the UK website. The offer should be on there.
