is it true?

I guess they need Pluto to get after them. Now that would be funny to see Pluto chasing after the rats. Kinda like Uncle Eddie's dog in Christmas Vacation. :rotfl2: PS I just kidding I would want the Kids to witness that

Except cats are no match for a full grown rat. You need a Jack Russell Terrier to get rid of rats. A friend worked in a horse barn, and one fall, her JR killed 52 rats. :scared1:

In the stables I worked for, we used ferrets for the rats and snakes. Left the mice and birds to the cats. The goat ate everything else.

Rats are everywhere. I saw one once at Times Square walking down the sidewalk.
Me too! He was a big one too... he may as well been carrying a briefcase and a Starbucks!
Snapped this picture just inside Cinderella's Castle:

Sorry! :lmao:

Couldn't resist! :rotfl2:

In case you took me seriously...This is a joke. It's just a random photo from the internet. Although, I'm sure there are rats at Disney...I'm also sure they're not feeding them from a pool of milk inside the castle.
OMG! I'm still cracking up over here! Put a warning in your title next time! I could have been drinking something! :lmao::lmao:
Too funny!

I can just imagine that there are rats, snakes, gators, etc. And I live in the South... in Georgia. And we have these huge roaches. They are actually called Palmetto bugs. But they are huge (over an inch long.) Oh, and they fly.

I'm not sure if they have them in Orlando, but I'm pretty sure they're in Florida.

But seriously, do not feed the animals. A couple years back, we had the weirdest thing happen to us. My eldest son and I went to eat at that Japanese CS restaurant and the other members of our family ate at the CS restaurant in the USA part of EPCOT World Showcase. Well while some other members of the family were eating outside, there was this squirrel. The squirrel had absolutely no fear of humans. And it was hungry.

So this squirrel was going around, hopping from table to table, trying to find something to eat. Eventually, it was my family's turn to get a visit. Yep! This bold squirrel just hopped on up and basically dared us to try to scare him off.

Needless to say, my DW and my MIL grabbed their food and ran inside. Well, the squirrel decided to follow them inside, too. This thing was hopping from table to table. Folks were running and kids were crying! My DW ran screaming from the tables and locked herself in the restroom! :lmao:

Needless to say, some workers came by and was trying to run the squirrel off. After a while, the squirrel left and went up the road. So I made sure that my younger son was finished with his meal. After that, I knocked on the restroom door to retrieve my wife and we were on our way.

Saw a rat once- at PORFQ - I just thought it made it more authentic!

The craziest thing I've seen was a HUGE (like, at least two foot) snake that slithered across the walkway at Typhoon Lagoon and then slithered UP one of those trees in the middle of a beach chair section (with chairs fanning out around it like a star).

80 Years ago, a struggling cartoonist named Walter Elias Disney also saw a mouse.

Instead of panicking and running the other way, he gained inspiration from it.

He Drew it.
He Named it.
He Branded it.
He Marketed it.
You visited it!

one time we saw an enormous snake(probably 4 or 5 feet long) on the bride at animal kingdom, it defenitely looked venomous. it was all curled up beside the water and we were the first to notice it.

:scared1:

Wow...that that's been read....can not be unread...

Oh my goodness...oh my goodness....:scared:

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: I am picturing Chevy Chase in a Santa Hat for Christmas Vacation..... SQUIRREL!!!!! Where's Eddie I thought he ate those things...not since he read they were high in cholesterol.

During our trips we have noted rabbits (hoping between bushes at CBR) and of course "Ally" the alligator that hungout under the bridge at CSR during our 2005 trip. We have also noticed birds that will make a move for your food if you are not watching them close enough.

i read on here that people wereb sorry that they read the post well.. i'm sorry i posted the post they say don't ask questions you don't want to know the answers to i should have known better.

Are you the original OP? Don't worry about it, honest! We're all big girls and boys. From the title of the thread, we know the answers may "bother" us and not to read! ;) I never meant to make you feel bad.

Tip of the day - do not leave your open purse/bag on the ground after dark while eatting at Rose and Crown. This is where we saw a rat.

Rats like to nest at the top of palm trees. There are lots of palm trees in Florida.

It took me a couple reads to realize this was a typo! Imagine the picture in my head!:rotfl:

OMG!!! That's just WRONG! Now I'm gonna have nightmares!

Oh fudgesicle!

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:
I'm not sure if this has anything to do with the two glasses of red wine I just consumed, but the interaction here just cracked me up. "Oh fudgesicle". LMAO. It will be hard for me to walk under palm trees now. :happytv:

I was just happy I was able to contribute a little bit of "magic" to this thread.

:lmao:
