Ugh, that is no fun. I am blessed to have an accountant for a father.

We had an amazing day yesterday. I had the chance to go on an Enthusiasts Day organized by Monarch Airline. It started with a flight from Manchester to Chester (about 50 miles apart). We got to Chester ahead of schedule and as there were only about 50 people involved in this adventure, we got to visit the flight deck in groups of four. Then it was onto a short bus ride to the administration building for Airbus where we had tea, coffee and biscuits followed by a presentation about Airbus in the UK. Next we were divided into groups and our group got to visit the factory where they are building the wings for the A320s and A330. I was amazed that most of the work is done manually. After we had a good idea of the work going on there, we went for lunch. Airbus put on a great buffet lunch. After lunch, we split in our groups again. This time round, we got to see the brand new factory for the A350, which is still very much in the developing stages. Everything there is a lot more automated. They are building the first two sets of wings at the moment. Unfortunately we did not get to have a look at the wing plant for the A380, but we did see an A380 wing being transported down the river on a barge. Once we finished our tours, we went back to the plane for the flight back to Manchester. Once we got there, we cleared the arrivals formalities and then were transferred to the Monarch hangar. I was mildly interested in this and Graham was not bothered about this at all. In the end, this turned out to be our favourite part of the day. They had three planes in there at various stages of maintenance and we were able to get into the hold, see things exposed that you would normally never seen and generally were able to walk around, under and inside the planes and learned a lot about the maintenance aspect. It was truly amazing. We were totally exhausted when we got home, but the experience was out of this world.

We're doing major planting today. Fruit trees and veggies!

They're all dangerous, they leave me dreaming of far off exotic places that have to be put on the bucket list, that list is getting long!

A lot of my bulbs are sticking out of the ground, my daffodils are already blooming. Fruit trees sound wonderfully fun, what did you plant?

There will be plenty of other people fighting back the tears so they won't even notice you.

Our first ever cruise was a 5 night cruise on the Magic. We only got off for about an hour in Nassau. I really don't like this place.

We have since done a 4 night cruise, a back to back cruise consisting of a 5 night and a 2 night cruise, 2 7 night cruises, an eleven night cruise, a 14 night cruise and a 15 night cruise. The next one is 15 nights again. We noticed in October that 7 nights is simply not long enough anymore. Next year we want to try to 7 night cruises back to back.

We saw Villains Tonight on the Magic in 2010 and loved it. It really appeals to my sense of humour.

I'm anticipating being hooked on this type of vacationing. I'm sure I'll come back with more plans. Well, I might have already booked a b2b on the Fantasty for next March, but hoping to rebook and get onboard credits like we talked about before

We were not allowed to take any photos while we were guests of Airbus, but I have some photos from the hangar and the flight deck. I just need to download them all.

About a week ago we planted a Nectarine and Apricot tree. Today we planted a Navel orange, transplanted our lime tree(still no fruit after many years). We planted two red tomatoes and a yellow one. I got four herbs planted and we did a few other transplants. We still have more for tomorrow. I may post pics on my PTR.
