Is it true that Tutto no longer offers the "Family Style" meals?

It wouldn't be a big loss---it was just the standard offerings, and if you ordered the most expensive ones a la carte, the price is actually less.

Adult: prosciutto $18 + pork loin $28 + dessert $10 = $56

(The Antipasti was $29, but for two, so the per-person cost for that is only $14.50)

I guess the only reason to mourn its passing might be if it were eligible for DDP, but I don't think it was, because it included an appetizer.

We will have a party of nine for that meal and I just thought it would be a nice option for being able to order a salad for an appy without having to pay for each salad OOP. Have you seen the price of their caesar salad??:scared1:

Add it up---ordering it as a family-style meal is more expensive than ordering it a la carte.

As I wrote, I don't believe it is eligible for the Plan, because it includes an appetizer. As I recall, none of the three-course meals are, but I could be wrong.

I have another question posted on the DDP board. I was interested in the family style meal at Tutto because other family meals (WCC etc), are covered under the DDP. The person on that thread was the one who informed me that she thought the family style meal at Tutto had been discontinued. I just wanted to verify that. :)

Hi, Belle. The family meal wasn't on the menu at Tutto in Feb or May. I don't even remember it being on it at the very end of Nov. although it was in Oct. 07.

My understanding is that the family style meals offered as combinations of courses from an a la carte menu are generally not included, if they are three courses or more. This would include the fixed-price menus at Chefs, Artist Point, and Tutto. The "all you care to eat" versions generally are included---the character meals and the WCC skillet.

That makes sense!
