That just seems quite late to me.

I would have thought that on non MM days it would open at 9am and not at 10am.

We've gone in early September the last two years and yes, 10am was the typical opening time (Monday through Thursday). It works great for us because we can enjoy breakfast and relax in the mornings before heading to the parks.

Yes, 10 a.m. is typically for midweek.

We try to stick to the 'off' season and hours are usually 10-8. Still plenty of time to enjoy Disneyland, but it wouldn't be a great time to go if you only had a one day ticket.

10-8 isn't actually that bad because it's less crowded. There probably won't be fireworks and maybe not the nighttime parade (though if it gets dark enough???), but you can ride just about all the rides in that time. Just get there at rope drop and you'll be fine. I've gone a few times in September and to me it's one of the best times to go if you want to beat crowds.

Yikes! Will, Paint the Night be going?????
I better ride Space on Sunday since its going down for the Halloween cover on Monday (Labor Day)
I am looking forward to a nice leisurely breakfast at the hotel, before hitting the parks... totally new to us, since we usually go over Thanksgiving weekend, and the hours are much earlier!
Thanks to Figment for posting the rehab schedule along with the hours.

PtN will probably be presented for several years to come, but whether it will be presented nightly in the non-peak season is not yet known.

This also is not yet known for sure. Space Mtn usually closes for 4 days before the start of HalloweenTime to have the Ghost Galaxy overlay installed. Last year, HalloweenTime started on Friday, September 12, so Space closed from Monday (September 8) through Thursday (September 11), but Labor Day was on September 1. This year, it seems unlikely that DLR will opt to start HalloweenTime on Friday, September 11th (given the historical significance of that date), so the guessing is HalloweenTime will start between September 12 and 18. Truthfully, I think it would work out well for HalloweenTime to start on September 12 (Sat) because then they can keep Space open on Labor Day (Mon, 9/7) and then close it for Tue to Fri. Still we probably won't know much about HalloweenTime dates until very late this month or next month (July) and the operating calendars won't be released until about 45-days/6-week in advance.

You're welcome. Just remember, that was the schedule for 2014. You can use it for a guide for 2015, but refurbishments and hours do vary from year-to-year.

We don't know yet if PTN will follow the same nighttime entertainment schedule as fireworks and F!. When they started F! dining packages they did run it every day, but that was probably to increase revenue. With no PTN dining packages it's hard to say if they'd do it. But, the old MSEP used to run right as the park closed, so it's possible, but I tend to think that if it stays even half as popular as it is now that the logistics of having everyone on Main St right at closing will hurt shopping revenue.

OK- Thank You for your help!
I will be there from Sunday Sept 6th-- Thurs the 10th, so Paint the Night should be going, at least on Sunday and Monday I would think, since Monday is a holiday...
I will be keeping an eye on the schedule, Thanks again!

I think F! was being presented nightly in the non-peak season this year because WoC was also down during that period. I noticed that when WoC came back up and Spring Break season ended (so in mid-April through Memorial Day weekend) F! was back to the weekend only schedule.

I love that time. It means we sleep until at least 7:30 or later. Then it's breakfast and slow-going. The down side is rope drop has thousands of people ready to go into the parks. It's incredible how many people go straight to Radiator Springs Racers. It's just crazy. In fact, this past Sunday we got there at 8:45 and only had a 20 minute wait!!! That's never happened in the off-season.

Yes, and this is a tough thing for our family because we are all up at 6am and that is 4 hours till park opening with two restless kids. And our littlest naps at 9:30 which means we'll have to put her to sleep in the entrance line so we can push our sleeping kid into the park at opening. Always a bummer. I really want that magical walk into the parks, but maybe next trip. The same thing happened when my first was a toddler.
