Is it too late?

Hello experts,
We will be checking into PBH on Sunday. Is it too late to ask for a room in the west wing? I did not put a note in my reservation that I made back in February. Has anyone had experience with making requests with this hotel? How did you make the request? Fax or email? Did you have any luck at checkin with your requests?
