If you notice my ticker, We have a huge event coming up in Nov. But to be honest with you, I am almost as excited about our May trip as I am about giving birth to our 2nd son. I do need Help!
We are going for only 1 day in May (5/26) and staying at The Poly the night before we head over to Port Canaveral for our 1st ever 7 night Disney Cruise!!!
DH surprised me this last weekend saying that he thought we should go to WDW again next year, and even yearly for a few years as the kids loved it. We had initially thought of camping at Custer State Park and visiting the Mount Rushmore area, but we will put that on hold til the kids are older.
So right now we are looking at going April 29 to May 5th. We were there last year at that same time and had a great time. I think that we will be staying at WL again, courtyard view this time so that we can request a bunkbed room, but I also toy with the garden wing at CR so that we are waling distance to MK.
We are planning on a trip this May, but no definite plans yet. Waiting to see when Star Wars Weekends are. Most likely we will be there May 28-June 3, hopefully staying at BCV!
Never too early to plan. Half the fun of the trip is in the planning and anticipation.
We're also going the 1st week of May 06. My DW and I are taking our two DD's and their Hubbys, and our 3yr old granddaughter and our about-to-be born grandchild (Nov 05). Staying at BC Villas. Will have a studio for each couple. Am REALLY looking forward to it. Will be first time at BC Villas. Hope we get good rooms with good views. Any suggestions what to request?
We will be at BCV from 5/19-5/30/05. 16 crazy family members all there together (well, at least we are all staying at different resorts). Not sure what we got ourselves into
We will also be celebrating our 6th anniversary.
We usually vacation the same week each year. Always rains at home this time of May, at least since the year we were married (it poured that entire week this past May, and darn it, it's the first time we didn't go away. We statyed home to 'clean the house'. Yup, that was a lot of fun).
So if you live in NJ, you may want to consider getting out of the state. Though, if you live in NJ, you probably always consider getting out of the state (Hey, I'm from NJ, so I can make comments like this )
I am a May WDW girl!
I am now in the beginning planning stages of a May '06 trip. I am not sure of the dates yet, but most likely the second week of May.
Made our tenetive reservations for May 2006 today!! I just made them for the POP Century to get a room locked in, im sure it will change though to either Port Orleans, Wilderness Lodge or Beach Club, or some combination of it.
We are going April 29-May 8 for our 1 year wedding anniversary trip!!
We'll be there (off-site) from April 23 to May 9. Sixteen nights in Orlando- WOOHOO! Definitely not too early to plan it. I booked my trip in April this year!
We will be staying at the WL from May 2-6 and celebrating my dd's 1st b-day at the World! I am so excited I could bust!
I love WDW during the end of April-the middle of May! Nice weather (of course I am from the south so I am used to hotter weather but it's nice weather to me!) and the parks aren't too crowded since most of the kids are still in school during that time period. I just wish May was a little closer...sigh...
