We went to Disney for the first time this May and loved it. I would love to go back in 2013 or 2014 and am just reading here for fun. How far in advance do you get serious about planning?

We stayed in Boardwalk, it was for a company trip, and I am looking at various resorts for our next stay. We're a family of 5, I am looking at POR, Beach Club, Jambo House Villa...a cabin or maybe Boardwalk again!

We are going Jan 2 thru the 12th 2013,,,, we are planning! who says its too early???? I have been planning this one since 08/2010:rotfl:

Let's plan! We are looking at early February 2013, staying at AKV Kidani. Will be my family (DH, DD 11, DD 9) & my sister's family of four. Hoping to talk my parents into it as well. My mom wants to go but my dad doesn't get it & says it is too far away to decide. Hoping to get him on board!

Would love to hear other's plans!

I just switched our plans for Nov. 2012 to Jan. 2013. We always go in January and I just can't imagine going any other time. 5 min waits, nice weather, most of the time!

We are a family of 5 so our options are limited. I'm debating either POR, which will be nice with the refurb rooms queen beds, etc. or splurging for BWI or Contemporary. I do a little travel stuff on the side, mostley Disney of course!! So, if I can make enough to pay for the upgrade then I just might go for it! We'll see.

Danielle Enjoy everyone! I need to change my ticker!

How did you like BWI? Was it OK not having a food court? We are driving this time so save on airfare and avoid weather related drama with flights, as we have had in the past! So, I was thinking I could bring some light breakfast food to keep in the room and just eat QS lunch and TS dinner with snacks at the parks, etc.

Our kids will be 7,6 and 3 when we go in Jan. 2013. I'd love to hear what you thought of it.

It's never too early to start planing :)
My friend and I are planning a trip in early February 2013 :cool1:

nope - not too early (see counter below):

 (october 2013 can't get here soon enough!)

Never too early; I am in the early stages for a May 2013 with a friend who wants to take her son and daughter for her HS graduation.

She is going to stay in a room with her kids and we are getting an adjoining room with a few friends that work at the restaurant she works at; I eat there every night.

She is housesitting me for my next three trips and I am paying her (I have four cats). She asked me to save the money to help defray the costs of the trip.

I'm actively planning too! January 21-29/30. (Haven't quite made up my mind yet!) This will be my third trip since Dec. 2009. My family's 2nd and my Mom and Dad's 1st since 1985! I'm looking at CSR for my Dad. We can't wait! I'm just keeping my fingers crossed for FD.
