Is it too early for Dh to be mowing the lawn?

Oh, and another highjack thing that gets to me. I was leaving this morning and noticed the neighbor's little girl in our yard with their dog at 7:15 am doing its thing - I just scowled at her. If I come home and find that pile still there it is going under one of their tires of their car. After she saw me she tried to get the dog to stop, so what does the dog do but move to the sidewalk in front of our house to finish the deed. These people completely tick me off, until I read others stories of their neighbors - then I thank my lucky stars bcause mine are much too stupid to be as mean as other people's neighbors are.

Now if you asked me if it was too early to have your dog defecate on my lawn I would be standing waving my finger in your face saying, yes, Kim, much too early. ;)

Actually - I am the Queen of "when's too early"! 8:30 is considerate, especially on a weekday. We get awakened most Saturday mornings around here before 8 AM. So - from someone who is fussy about "when's too early" your DH is fine!

ROTFLOL Castlegazer!!! I'll make sure not to walk on your sidewalk today with Mattie!!!
Dh said he would never think about mowing early in the morning on the weekends but all of our neighbors are up and about early during the week-lots of school aged kids! Bottom line.... I'm not concerned at this point. Thanks guys!!

Kim

I think 8:30am is fine. We have neighbors that party till 3 or 4 am. I put up with them, they put up with our noise:D It's the Golden Rule, kinda sideways;)

8:30 on a weekday? have at it! might wait a bit on a weekend though.......couldn't mow that early here if I wanted to.......grass still too wet from dew.....

If I were your neighboor I'd be mad. My mom wouldn't let us out to play or make noise until 10am, no matter what. She said it was the polite thing to do. I have a neighboor who does what he wants at 6:30am-7:30am. Totally iritates me. However, the wife works nights. I have to say, last year I finally snapped. I've been known to be really loud during the afternoon to relieve "stress"!!

It's not his poor wife's fault that he's mowing the lawn. Imagine how she feels when she has to be awake at 3 am. Hopefully, she's not a medical professional taking care of someone's family member since her sleep has intentionally been broken up!!

I'd be annoyed. Not everyone works 9-5. I've always worked evenings and I'm lucky if I can get more than 2 hours of sleep at a time due to all the noise around here. I'd like to vacuum at 3am and see how my neighbors like being awakened when they are sleeping. Maybe that would stop them from conversing loudly or letting their kids scream beneath my bedroom window at 7AM.
