Is it still possible that Universal & Comcast buys out SeaWorld Parks?

The theme park chain is suffering so much and took a huge blow last year because of the blackfish documentary, and attendance issues still concern, etc. if sea world parks don't get their act together soon could the theme park chain be sold and be purchased by Comcast/NBC Universal or Disney even? Six Flags I read on One article from 2014 could put age Busch gardens parks/and have BGT transform into a Six Flags finally in Florida...Sea World Orlando in the same article said it would be Universals Sea Park-from Screamscape.com And the possibility of JAWS coming back to Universal Orlando? Again from last year in that particular article those were just some of the strong rumors about SeaWorld Parks in general. FYI SeaWorld has dropped 84% this year. Could this be the end of SeaWorld perhaps in the very near future? P.S I would love to see JAWS comeback to universal!!!!! Is that still possible by the way even if Sea World stays? Could it COMEBACK TO USF? A new home nextdoor at IOA? Or at Volcano Bay waterpark debuting in 2017?

I doubt it. There is a such a negative cast over SeaWorld right now that it is going to take a lot to turn it around. Until they get rid of their whales, I don't see the attendance changing. Blackfish really did a number on them.

The park is really too far away to become a 3rd gate too.

Oh I see....well I guess what I was hearing was a very strong rumor..because in one recent article dated back from last year said this....

The other point too I was trying to make is if this were to happen I think this would be the only way a future jaws attraction would ever comeback to Universal Orlando...if Universal and SeaWorld joined forces to create a huge universal sea themed park based on Uni films I guess that's how they would do it. Busch Gardens BTW in Tampa said it would also transform into Six Flags..finally in Florida!

I think that Comcast decided to invest heavily in their own parks instead.

But the question is what if sea world parks keep going downhill? Losing money.

I'm not quite sure what your question is. Seaworld is leaking money. Comcast is all about making money. I can't see Comcast purchasing SeaWorld.

SeaWorld is putting in a new coaster. Perhaps changing their direction to a more thrill ride oriented park will help their bottom line.

I guess if SeaWorld keeps hemorrhaging guests and money, it's not likely to be able to sustain itself and being located where it is, one would think it would be an attractive purchase. But I somehow doubt it. I feel like it could become an abandoned theme park and go to waste which would be such a shame. Its roller coasters are better than anything similar at Disney or Universal and its location is prime. I don't think there's any way Disney would have anything to do with it, though. It's just not Disney's style. I doubt Universal would, but it must be enticing. It's a big piece of centrally-located property and it's no farther from Universal Studios than EPCOT is from the Magic Kingdom. Comcast could decide to buy and dump some money into a transition to an animal-free sea-themed third gate regardless of the geographical separation from US/IoA, small as it may be. Universal Oceans of Adventure. Get rid of Aquatica and build a couple more resorts along the lines of Cabana Bay. That all would be very, very interesting and totally change the game.
