Is it safe to book through orbitz??

Hello ladies and gents! Is it safe to book a hotel through Orbitz? I have personally never used the booking site and i am looking to book a hotel room in december for our trip to disney and they have a couple of discounts. Has anyone ever encountered any problems before using them?

I've used Orbitz plenty of times with no problems,I consider them one of the known hotel booking sites I would have no worries using.Sometimes I'll go to Kayak which gives you different prices on different booking sites and I've seen some that are just not known and would definitely hesitate to book,but Orbitz is fine.

I booked my reservations only plan through Orbitz- it was so much cheaper and there was a coupon code besides at the time, so I got what I felt was a very good deal. I just added the confimation number into My Disney Experience and linked tickets I bought at Undercover Tourist, and last night I just did my Fastpass+ selections. It seems to be the same as if I had booked directly with Disney.

Just booked airfare for 6 thru Orbitz. Have used in the past and trust it. Shop thru ebates or Swagbucks to get some cash back.

No, but if you need peace of mind, you can.

Orbitz is my go-to booking site. We travel quite a bit and their rewards program can add up if you use them frequently. I've never had a problem.

We just booked using Orbitz for the first time. Reservation shows up in MDE. I would just add the ressie to MDE as soon as you can.

Only big difference is you have to pay the entire amount up front if you book through Orbitz. Disney just takes a deposit. For some people, that is not a big deal. For others, it might be.
