Is it rude to ....

I have a few questions to ask you so here they go

Is it rude to request a certain pin when you buy a lot of pins on ebay?

Is it rude to deny someone who really wants one of your pins if you don't like any of your pins?

Is is rude to tell someone that there pin is not a real Disney pin?

The reason I ask is because I have been a pin collecter since I was six but this year I actually started trading them and buying them online but i don't want to be obnoxious and rude. Thanks for all the help!

1. If a person has a lot up on eBay you can ask if certain pins are in that lot. If the answer is yes then bid, if the answer is no you don't have to bid. The purpose of asking questions of the seller before bidding is to prevent misunderstandings and/or disappointments.

2. If somebody wants a pin on my lanyard (or book) and they do not have anything I want I will politely decline to trade. I will not say "everything you have is junk" but will tell them they do not currently have anything I am interested in.

3. If you are sure it is a fake you might mention something as: "that particular pin does not look to me as if it is a legitimate Disney pin, you might want to check on it". But it may be one made by Propins or Sedesma, both of which were legitimate licensees although the quality is way down from pins sold by Disney.

I think that rudeness is not what you tell someone but how you act and the way you tell them.

When it comes to turning down a trade even if that person really likes my pin, if they don't have anything I like or need I would not feel bad about saying no.
