DH and I are taking the kids (2 & 4.5) to Disneyland next month and decided to leave our stroller at home and rent one there. As I was searching for pricing this evening I ran across this on mousesavers. But I'm not sure when this was posted there.

Has anyone here taken advantage of the free stroller rental? Is it just for a single stroller or can you get a double for free, too?

Strollers

Stroller rental costs $10 per day. There are locations in both Disneyland and DCA where you can rent strollers, but none in Downtown Disney.

Disney Rewards Visa cardholders get FREE stroller rental at Disneyland.

Offer is subject to availability while supplies last. Stroller availability varies based on theme park attendance and other factors. Limit two free strollers per cardmember per day. Available only at the Main Entrance Stroller Rental Locations in Disneyland or Disney's California Adventure theme parks.

I don't think they have double strollers anymore (not absolutely sure). I took advantage of the free strollers earlier this year. Just showed my Disney Visa and we got to use a stroller at no charge.

Yes, this offer is still current as far as I know. I haven't heard anything about it being discontinued, but hopefully someone else can verify this for sure. There are no double strollers at DLR, but you can get 2 strollers for free with your card.

We did this just 3 weeks ago, and it was a very easy transaction each time. :thumbsup2

We got 2 free single-strollers a few times. We just showed them the Disney Visa Rewards card and an I.D. This can be done at DLR, but not at WDW.

I agree with the others; to my knowledge DLR doesn't have double-strollers.

I've had the Disney Visa Rewards credit card for a couple of years. Although I didn't use it that much, I did use it for some business trips, etc. Long story short, I was able to get a Disney Visa Rewards Card that was worth $100. So I used it to buy $100 worth of souveniers in DL. :thumbsup2

HTH :goodvibes

P.S. From the hotel (HoJo) to the stroller rental place we used umbrella strollers. They held the umbrella strollers for us while we used the Disney strollers. The Disney strollers are much nicer to use than the umbrella strollers.

Thanks for all the quick replies. I'm so excited to not have to worry about lugging a stroller from home. What a great perk.

Just a caution - think about getting to and from the car and/or hotel.

We're staying at the Grand Californian so the kids will just have to "deal" with the bit of walking they'll have to do until we get to the stroller rental. Oh what a mean mom I can be. :rolleyes1

I guess we'll be getting 2 strollers then. :thumbsup2
