Is it really that hard to get a reservation at Cinderella's Royal Table?

I just called to set up my ADR's for Feb. and I asked by chance if they had any openings for CRT, as I have heard it is so hard to get a reservation, and she gave me a whole list of times that were open. I was surprised I thought it was next to imposible from what I have read in some guide books and the Magic Kingdom is expecting a crowd factor or 9 out of 10 that day. I didn't call at 7:30 a.m. or exactly 180 days out either. Was I just lucky?

I think the breakfast is the hard one to capture, if you are able to book that after the 180 or 190 day timeframe I would say you were very very lucky.
Dinner and Lunch seem to be a bit easier to get, and if you call after the 180-190 day window you have to be willing to take an odd time.
I called just last week and I had a nice CM that checked each day for me for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I was able to book dinner at 4:20 for October the 5th.
To me 4:20 is okay, not the greatest, we can watch the 3:00 parade and then make our way over to the castle.

I think it use to be -- before the princess storybook breakfast at Epcot opened up.
I don't know that it is so difficult any longer.

I read that Le Cellier is the HTF ressie now, not so much CRT.

I have not been able to get a reservation for our Oct 27 - Nov 3 trip.....I have called a few times and had them check each day for breakfast, lunch and dinner.........and nothing!

I think that breakfast is hard to get but not the other meals.
I call often to check on cancelations for Chef Mickey's dinner in October and twice they tried to "push" CRT on me instead.
Princesses, yikes!!!! :scared1:

We booked CRT for next week back in May. I called a few weeks ago to see about a later time for breakfast. The CM said that they were booked for the entire day. I think that it might depend on the time of year you go.

I agree that it's not as difficult as it used to be. There are other options out there now that don't cost 2TS, so people might be branching out, so to speak.
