Is it really that difficult to get a ressie for CRT??

It's by no means as hard as it once was. It no longer sells out within 10 minutes like it used to. No more need for "CRT tips" like there was back then.

But like others have said, breakfast is the most popular, followed by lunch and finally dinner and I wouldn't wait if I had my heart set on it especially if I wanted a specific time/meal, but if you call within the first few days your time opens up, you will get something.

I agree with all that, with one exception. None of us knows what it will be like trying to book during free dining this year. This will be the first time they have done free dining with a 90 day window. That's MY worry.

But I think the OP was asking about December. I bet they will be fine, unless it's too close to Christmas.

I had no problem at all last year. Hopefully this year will be the same way. Last year I think I called about 2 months b4 our trip and got in with no problem. We had a 10:10am seating, which was perfect for us. It might be harder if u want an earlier ADR. This post is starting to make me nervous about my upcoming trip. We r going in August again, this time during free dining and I have to wait to the end of May to book, I guess I'll keep my fingers crossed!

i had no problem called on my 180 day got my dinner ressie plus a lunch ressie on the day we left next trip am going to try breakfast i love the castle

Unfortunately this time you get to sit around for 90 days and wait for everyone else to make their plans and compete with you for the CRT ADR's!

Even if they do not have what you are looking for...just keep trying back! People always call back and switch or cancel. In my experience, we have always called ahead months in advance for CRT, but a couple of time when we had not planned to eat there, we just happened to go to the podium and ask if there was any availibility, and sure enough, we were able to get in.

For our trip in February I had wanted to treat my 5yo niece to breakfast at the castle. I had planned on calling 180 days out but with problems at work and other items in life it slipped my mind. I ended up calling about 75 days out and was able to get a first sitting for Breakfast on my 3rd choice of days.

I think if you're flexible at all you will have no problem getting something.

Good luck and enjoy!
