Wanting input from veterans and attorneys lurking about. Can WDW actually nullify or prevent a marriage from happening inside a villa with just the occupants and an officiant? Just to be clear - two adult FLA residents - not interfering with anyone else.

Pretty sure the POS has language discussing what can and can not happen in a room. Did you check to see if anything is written that might give insight?

But, since Disney owns the property..the land..and you need permission from an owner to get married on their property,,, my guess is that Disney can indeed prohibit it.

If two people occupy a room and a friend drops by, is that a problem? How would anybody with Disney know???

I guess if you're looking at it that way they could but it is certainly not against Florida laws I just ran through all the laws quickly that govern getting married.

One thing I could think of is wedding pics getting posted on-line, identifying the venue and risk your DVC membership, but that's pretty far fetched.

With no guests... Who would post pictures?

Would the location need to be included in any of the paperwork, then one would need to find out directly from Disney, as they are the only ones who can answer.
