Is it possible?

I'm pricing up next June/July we can't make our minds up on either 2 weeks or 3 weeks,I know package wise 3 weeks isnt much dearer than 2.
However we are trying to D.I.Y this next trip.
And would love to do a Villa has we have never done this.
What would you do? 2 weeks Villa? 3 weeks villa? 2 weeks villa and 1 week Pop? we'd like to stay in Pop again as the children loved it...I just dont know what to do.. And by villa I'd rather book one independantly?
2 weeks Pop is roughly £2700+ with TCD (mid June). for 2 adults and 2 children.

It's a forum like this with lots of info, but it's biased towards renting a villa and there are hundreds of villa owners on there that will do you a good deal.

A week longer isn't too much more, but splitting it will be I think. 2 weeks in POP isn't much more than 1 so it's the first week you shell out all your money on.

If you can afford it then great. You might be able to find a good deal.

Yeah its just I dont know what to do,is villa more appealing or onsite with the benefits? and we know the kids loved the hotels? I just dont know what to do the heading should of read "what would you do" lol...

I think the 2 weeks villa 1 week Pop sounds like a good compromise, that way you get your onsite experience but also the convenience of more space, own pool etc

we just booked a 3 week villa although i was tempted to do one week in akl as we really enjoyed it there but do prefer villas.

every time i think of akl i get that smell. the smell. im going back just for a sniff this time and maybe stay there next!

il let you know what i think of 3 weeks in a villa when we get back or whether i wish we had done a week in akl.

If the question is 'what would you do' then I would have to say villa. And I fully endorse madmumof2's suggestion for suitable villas. We have used them 3 times up to now - and have an other 2 booked through the same site. It is definately biased towards villas (ask the same question on their forum and see what response you get ) but that is because the majority of members are villa owners.
But if the question is 'what should you do' then it sounds like you would get more out of spending a week on site. Personally I don't know what the price difference would be between a 3rd week in a villa or a week on site - or if that is even a factor for you - but it is something that would make my mind up.
