I was just wondering if you can pay half of a vacation using points and the other half with cash? Next year my mother maybe coming with us for a trip and we will have to get a 2 bedroom villa and I did not want to use up all of my points for it. Just wondering if she could pay cash for her part of the stay? I would appreciate any help with this. Thanks

Maybe you could get someone to transfer points to your account and she could pay for them. What do you consider "her part"? Would it be the cost of a studio? Then you could have someone transfer that many points. You might want to check into the $ cost of a 2BR with MS before you go much further with your plans. You would have to set up a reservation with points and then link it to a cash reservation for the other days. You might be able to get a member discount since you will be staying there and if you plan on staying over a weekend those would be the days to pay cash so you don't use so many points.

We do this all of the time and it's easy. You pay for some nights with points. She pays for other nights with cash--hopefully with a Member discount. If you do that, by all means have her pay for the weeekend nights with cash....talk about a point stretcher!!!

You can reserve some noghts with cash and some nights with points. What you can not do is "mix" points and cash for the same day, like pay half the room with points and the other half with cash.
