Is It Possible to Visit Vero Beach Resort?

It depends on your party makeup. If you have younger kids with you we always enjoy Riverside Cafe, Mulligan's, and Capt Hiram's. For a nicer meal try Citrus Grillhouse, The Tides, or Cobalt. But...the classic Vero restaurant is Ocean Grill--it's an experience unto itself and will make both kids and adults happy!! Enjoy your trip :)
Thank you. Just looked at Ocean Grill,,must be a DVB fav since on their website they have directions from there specifically. lol

Oh boy….
I could not bring myself to recommend Squid Lips, Capt Hiram’s, or Mulligans.

What we do like…
Ocean Grill, Bobby’s, CJ Cannon’s, Outriggers, and Tiki Bar.

We dine at Ocean Grill at least once each time we stay at DVB. Dinner reservations require a party of 5 or more, but they do manage a walk-up seating list for smaller parties. They seem to have things well organized. If you have a smaller party and want seating along the windows overlooking the ocean, try to arrive a little before 4 pm to add your name to their seating list for the 5 pm opening of the restaurant. We then either visit the bar/lounge for a pre-dinner drink or walk around the Beachland Blvd. area, stopping in a few of the shops to browse. Sometimes, we even do both. The small gift shop at the OG is also worth a look around.

We don’t like Squid Lips at all, but we do like Captain Hiram’s and Ocean Grill!

We generally stay a week+ at VB each January/February including upcoming 2025. While resort is beautiful and DH loves it there, the lack of dining in the area and several bad experiences at TS there makes me dread it a bit. We will eat breakfast in room, cook a simple meal or two, maybe a couple of pool side meals but then make the drive into VB proper for the rest of our meals.
