Is it possible to upgrade tickets?

so glad I found this post, finally figured it out. With chase rewards if you go thru travel they have universal tickets for 9,000+ points but if you go to gift cards the are only 5,000 points. I don't understand and I hope they are the same tickets but of course I got the 5,000 point tickets. Still plan to upgrade when we arrive.

Just ordered 2 tickets from Chase:cool1:, just need 2 more. That shouldn't be a problem seeing as the trip is in August:thumbsup2 I am so glad I came across this tread because I didn't know about the universal tickets deal.:cloud9:

It took about 10 days. Have you shopped through the ultimate rewards mall to get points? I clicked through their link but I am still waiting for the points to show up. I wish it would at least show pending so I know I am going to get credit for it.

Was it 10 business days?

The site said 7-10 business days, which would have put them in my hand by the 18th, but now it says my order should arrive by 3/22. We leave the 3/23!!! I didn't see it until I hit the submit order button!

I made a purchase in the rewards mall (January) that would give you 500 pts. The points never showed up, I called twice and a manager finally just added the points.

I have not recieve any of my special offer points for Jan to the end of March purchases. I will be calling again.:surfweb: Is anyone else having this problem.

I did recieve my Universal tickets:thumbsup2

When did u get it? I have the same problem now! Does everyone know which service they use? USPS? Or where they send from? I'm in NYC. Hope I can get it this week.

They come USPS, I just got 2 and they were shipped on 3/22 and I got them this past Monday, so on 3/28. I am in Indiana, not sure where they came from. USPS is so hit or miss, hope you get them in time.

For those of you who are back, did you end up upgrading your tickets? I am thinking of changing ours to 2 1 day park tix.

Perfect. We are going to Universal doing a cruise then was going to do the rest at Disney but this might just work out perfectly.

I would love to hear from someone who has did it as well.:surfweb:

Just wanted to bump this up. We are hoping to get to US later this year and I am thinking of getting tix from Chase. Would love to hear from someone who has upgraded them in the park.

Here's my post from another thread...
We went in March and here's what I found...

I ordered 3 adult PTP 1 day tickets from Chase rewards

I ordered 1 adult PTP 2 day and 1 child PTP 2 day from the Universal website which were $134.99 and $121.99, respectively. Tax was $16.71 and a processing fee of $4.30, totaling $277.99.

UPGRADE COSTS for the Chase tickets was a total of $105.42. Guest services said the Chase tickets had a face value of $112 and since gate prices are $10 higher than the website, the adult tickets were $144.99 each. Tax was $6.45 (I assume only on the difference in price).

It should be fairly simple--although the man we had help us was ALL confused and couldn't figure out the difference between PTP and adding a day.

HTH!!!

A very belated thank you! I just received approval for my vacation today and ordered 4 tickets from Chase this evening. I love the Dis!
