Is it possible to split one reservation into 2 reservations?

I have a reservation, but I won't be able to go all of the nights. Is it possible to split the reservation. So I could go the first half and I could change the names on the second half? There is no availability that week, so canceling and rebooking isn't an option.

This isn’t possible. They only can technically drop or add days from the front or back end.

Short answer...No.

Long answer...Call MS and see if you get a CM who can/will do it for you. In all honesty, this would be unfair to those members who were unable to book those nights and had to wait list. But you never know until you ask.

You can modify it yourself to shorten if you are only going to use part of it. So, if you are only going the first part, just cancel out those other nights.

Part of the reason they will not split is that many reservations are booked at 11 or 7 months so those nights that start in the middle would have been booked ahead of schedule since they were part of a reservation that started at the right time,

I have tried to split one reservation into two and was told NO CAN DO. As has been said, only can DROP some days and then hope to pick them up again. But there are almost waitlist requests, so . . . . If the extra days WERE available, you probably wouldn't be calling MS.
