Is it possible to rent points for last minute trip?

We just found out today that we are going to be at Disney for a work trip. Is it too late to rent points for DVC? Would things be booked up by now? Several years ago we planned a trip in advance and rented points from a member and it was fantastic but I have no idea if this is even possible with minimal notice.

most likely if anything is available, it would be at SSR. BWV/BCV probably booked up several months ago other than maybe a day here or there...i wouldn't be too picky at the last minute.

if something were available, you'd need to pay up front.

you can also look on the rent/trade board if you are logged into the DIS to try to find an individual owner.

Last minute reservations are going to be hard to find, but if something were available and you were trying to rent from a DVC member and their points are expiring, then you may have a decent bargaining position.

If you are willing to be flexible you can get some great last minute bargain for 5-8/pt. You will likely end up at Saratoga springs, but you might be lucky and find something else.
