Is it possible to pay for a character meal beforehand?

I'm organizing a trip for my children and their mates and plan on getting p.s. for the Liberty Tree Tavern dinner as their only character dining experience. Is it possible to prepay for a theme park meal??

The only way I know to do it is to buy meal vouchers for those meals before you leave home? We used vouchers to pay for our character breakfast at the Crystal Palace this last trip. I bought the vouchers to use at Cinderella's breakfast but our trip was delayed so we lost our ressies for that meal. Using the vouchers at CP wasn't a good deal, I think we broke even on the actual meal cost and tax and tip (would have saved around $12 at least using them at the Castle). Oh well, I already had them and we used them!

this is what we did for a honeymoon couple. i got w/the bride's mom and she helped me decide on the night for a nice meal. i called disney dining and made the PS's. then we gave them money to cover the meal. worked great!

If you don't want to give them cash, give them Disney Dollars.

No, there is no way to prepay. They don't sell the vouchers to include the Liberty Tree Tavern dinner. Those vouchers are only good for breakfast character meals, or regular breakfasts.

If this is a gift, if you can purchase Disney Dollars or WDW Gift Certificates. Unfortunately these cannot be sold over the phone or online. You would have to be at the park, or go to a Disney Store that sells Disney Dollars (their gift cards will not work at the parks). Otherwise give them enough money to cover the meal. I believe the meal is $25 and change per person (children 3-9 is $9.99, tax is 6.5% and the customary tip is 18%.
