Hi all! well the thread title says it all really.. i was just wondering if this is possible.. and if it is, how much will this cost? (i think i read somewhere that paying around $500 gets you up to 25 guests but i'm not 100% sure..) at first we thought our guest count would definately be around 14 so we had no problem, but now we have had a family of 6 altogether (2 adults, 4 kids) say they would love to make the trip, bumping the list to 20 guests. i love them and it would be awesome if they could come, but they have a few financial issues so unless they win the lottery i honestly can't see them ever having the money to make the trip :sad1:.. but just incase their numbers do come up i thought i would ask the question!

TIA :thumbsup2

That's correct for an additional $500 you can have up to 25 guests. We nearly had that but some dropped out - so we are dead on 20 now :-)

Just to clarify, it's 25 people total, including bride and groom, so technically you can only have 23 guests. :thumbsup2

And if any of the kids are under 3 they don't count towards your 23 total. Only kids 3 and up.

lurkyloo - i wasn't aware of that so thankyou!! x

girli565 - thanks for this info, that means that 1 of the children won't count.. bringing our total to 19.. doh! i hope we don't have to pay $500 for the sake of 1 person lol, it's especially anoying that 2 of their kids will be 3, how inconsiderate!! lol x

I remember our wedding was limited to 20 people total, and some of my family ended up inviting themselves, putting us at 22 guests total. I never said anything to my wedding planner, and on the day of my two extra guests showed up and nothing was said. I never had any extra charges added or anything.

oooh thats an idea! perhaps we'll just sneak the kiddies in, or say that they are under the age of 3.. even though they won't look it i'm sure the co-ordinator won't ask for their birth certificates or anything to prove it! thanks x
