Hi everybody,
we will be visiting DLP from July 19th to 21st  , so we will have 2 nights at the parks. We are planning to see Fantillusion and Wishes on the first night and on the second night maybe use the time during the parade to visit some rides, so I was wondering: are all the attractions still opened during the shows? I suppose they close Fantasyland, but what about the others?

Thanks :sunny:

As far as I know they don't close any of the rides during Fantillusion - it's usually a good time to do a few rides without having to queue for long!! Just make sure you are on the right side of the parade route for the rides you want to do, before the parade starts!

An especially good time to go on some of the busy fastpass rides :)

I have got a feeling that Fantasyland does close early so that it is empty before Wishes starts, but I think it is after Fantillusion rather than at the beginning.
Hopefully someone else will have a better memory than me!

Yes Fantasyland is closed for the fireworks for safety but still open for Fantillusion. The other lands are still open :)

I've never thought to ride during Fantillusion, normally we are too busy watching it!
I actually thought that Fantasyland closed around 10pm, but I may be mixed up about that.

Thank you!
That`s good news. I never visited DLP in mid July but I expect it to be very crowded even if it`s wednesday to friday... So we can wait till evening to go on the very popular rides in case it`s too busy throughout the day..only have to decide between SMM2 and Buzz or BTMRR and Indy... :thumbsup2

We will be watching it the first night popcorn:: but I also love to walk through the park when it`s lighted (is that a word?) at dark and I never had a chance to enjoy it since all my former trips were end August/ beginning September with one night of Fantillusion and Wishes (which of course we were watching) and the park closing at 8 when it was still light and no lights on the second night...

When browsing this forum I read on several threads that BTMRR and the Storybookland Ride at dark are a must do so I`m very excited to ride them and enjoy the atmosphere...and I guess my only chance will be during Fantillusion because I think it gets dark very late in July...

I'm driving my three mad with saying I want to ride BTM in the dark - I will do it this time!

This year I`m travelling with 3 friends that have never been to any kind of Disney park with me as their "tourguide" so they have no choice, hihi... just kidding. Most time I explain my plans they don`t understand what I`m talking about.. one of my friends didn`t even know there`s a castle :sad2: so I can`t wait to see their faces when we get there...
and yes, I think I`m already getting on their nerves with all my preparings, I even made them special guide books so theY at least have an idea what to expect... :confused3
