Is it possible to get this kind of view at WL?

This may sound kind of picky, but, I requested a courtyard/poolview at WL. I'm from NC, right at the base of the mountains and there are woods all around me so a woods view is nothing I am interested in. However, IF we are in our room at night at that time, I would love to see the fireworks or the water parade from our window. Is it possible to do that from a pool view room or would that be on opposite sides? If so, what would I say to get that? I need to go ahead and call back and be more specific but I'm not sure what to say. Also, if not, it's more important to have a good view of the pool because we will make sure to be in the parks for fireworks several nights so can someone advise me on where to ask for? Thanks everyone.

Your best chance of seeing fireworks from the room is to book the north side woods view. However, if you book south side courtyard view, and are on the highest floor (other than concierge) sometimes you can see a few of the higher fireworks. A main courtyard view will give you a view of the pool and the water pageant. There are some hallway windows in the north side that you can watch the same partial fireworks view you would have from the north side rooms.

If it were me, I would request upper floor, south wing, main courtyard view.

Here is a picture taken from our inner courtyard, 5th floor room, no view of fireworks but we saw the pool, geyser and EWP.

In Oct 2005, I called WL and asked for a room where we could see fireworks. Our "woods view" room from WL:

If the pool/geyser/Electric Water parade are what you want, pay for a courtyard view room. Request inner courtyard. Lower courtyard gives you a better view of the pool, while upper courtyard is quieter and closer to the lobby. I prefer north wing, putting you closer to Roaring Forks and the boat to MK.

Yes, I have gotten a courtyard view, but I wanted to be a little more specific. Thank you, you guys have been very helpful.:thumbsup2

Thank you, that sounds good. Was this in the North wing?

Yes, if we exited our room, turned right and went around the corner to the elevator we came out by the guest laundry room and Roaring Forks, out the door to the pool and the boat dock :)
