Is it possible to enter just the back part of Epcot?

My daughter and I are going to WDW in about 4 weeks and would love to see the countries of Epcot, but at $66 per ticket, that seems kind of steep. I can't find anything that offers a lower rate to see just the back half of Epcot and not all the attractions in the rest of the park. Is this even available? THanks!

Nope . . . it's an all or nothing package, sorry! While it's two separate areas, they aren't set up like two separate parks with an easily monitored walkway between them where they could keep guests with different admissions separate.

Actually, Epcot would be fairly easy to split into two parks. It's roughly two big circles joined together by a walkway. They could set up admission areas on that walkway area and have people go through a turnstile to get to one or the other pretty easily.

I'd never be in favor of it, of course!!! I love both parts of Epcot equally!!!

Except that there are three walkways, if I remember right . . . the main one, the one behind the Odyssey, and though I haven't seen it personally I would think that there would be one to ballance the second.

Could it be done? It COULD, just like technically they could charge a separate admission to just Toontown, but logistically it would not make sense.

Won't you have any tickets for your trip, or are you just going to be there for one day? :confused3

That is what I was wondering about too. If you are going to WDW, won't you have MYW tickets?

No, but it's an idea. Especially for those of us who would like to come in for dinner. Perhaps, they will consider a reduced fee at 7:00 pm since Future World closes at 7:00.

I read about some kind of afternoon ticket for a lower price but cannot be more specific.

I believe there is an Epcot AP for after 4:00 p.m. only. I am not sure if it is available for everyone or just Florida residents.

What they should do is have a small entrance fee that gets you in the door, and then charge extra for each of the attractions. To balance things out, you'd have to charge more for the really great attractions (Soarin', etc.) less for the middle-level attractions, and the lame attractions would be cheapest.

You could have different color tickets for the different levels of attractions. And, naaah, it would never work.

I was assuming people would understand that all of the walkways could easily be closed off. Yes, there are other walkways, but they could be managed or closed easily.

As I said, I'd never be in favor of it!!!

That's just for FL residents.

Your right... Colors would never work... you need letters!

Say, wait a minute.

Letters, Colors...

Letters AND Colors.

Yeah, THAT'S the ticket!
They could sell 'em by the BOOK!

(or it WAS the ticket.)

party: party: party: No they have t   icket booth and tricket taken there also. It is still part of Ecpot. You would love the area in the countries wow a whole day to view.
have a wonderful time

It would just be so nice to have the option of arriving at Epcot at 6:30 or 7:00 pm for a reduced entrance fee, have dinner and stroll around the countries without have to paying the usual daily rate. Since the park closes at 9-9:30, I would think Disney would realize you could not take everything in in during that short time frame. I know we would visit more Epcot restaurants if we had that option.

I need more information before I'm 100% clear...

Will you have multi-day tix? If so, that reduces the actual per day price. Will your tix be hoppers? If so, you could spend part of the day visiting the countries and then head to another park (or reverse that to end the day at Epcot with Illuminations).

I remember that... I was pretty young, but we had family that worked at Disney - we were so excited to get the tickets!

Buy the park hopper pass, and you will have no problems.
