I really want to take DD (2 1/2) to Ariel's for lunch one of the days we are there but DH doesn't want to go. I'm thinking I may sneak off while he does big rides w/ DS (5) and take her but I'm not absolutely sure it can happen. Would it be possible w/out PS to get in for an early lunch?

With out a PS it cost more. Make the PS then tell Dh that he can go do all the Big rides while you 2 go see All the Princesses at Ariel's. And then he won't have to do the 2 hour Princess Faire for his daughter.

I haven't experience a higher cost when we've been seated without PS so that must be pretty new.

Yes, you can but there will be a wait. I would just make the PS for you two and have DS and DH go off on their own while you and DD do the meal at AG. :)

I dont know if it can be done. I would go ahead and make PS. And I would make them for 4. Vacations and esecially disney vacations have a magical way of placing a spell on reluctant daddies :lmao: He could still end up having no desire to dine with the princesses, but on the off chance that he will decide to go, make them for 4 people. If he and DS decide not to go, when you check in just let them know your party size has changed to 2-- should not be a problem.

I am sure it can be done but you do need to be careful. We have been to the Ariel lunch twice and had PS both times and we listened as they turned all the people that did not have PS away:)

Totally agree here. When we were there two weeks ago.....we came up stairs from our breakfast and they were telling folks they had no walk up seating available for that day.

I'd make the call and reserve just in case.

Oh definitely, we've had this happen too. The OP asked if it could be done, yes it can but you can also be turned away. That's why I suggested making the PS in my first reply. :)

Thank you :) I may go ahead and make them JIC :)

I had priority seating for a table of 8 on Oct 13th. The people at the podium before us were a table of 4 walk up. They were seated right away. It was breakfast - around 10:07am.

I have just walked up and gotten in no problem. But find that what has worked the best for us is calling over to DD and getting a PS about 30-60mins ahead of when we want to eat. It has worked all but one time.

BTW the pay phones in the Parks offer free calls to DD so you can call right there.

Or the People in the info Booths can make PS's for you too. Go into or leaving.
