Is it possible to drop someone off at a park without paying for parking?

Is there a drop off point for cars to let someone off at the park(s) without paying for parking? Can you pick-up at the same point?

yes, there is a guest drop off area. What I have done and is easier IMO is to drop off/pick up at the Kennel Club. When you get to the toll booth, stay to the right and just tell the CM that you are dropping off/picking up. At the light, make a left and the KC is on the right.

Thanks for the response. Is there a pet kennel at each major park?

The "Guest drop Off" area at the TTC (MK Parking lot) is just a little bit beyond the Kennel. From the MK toll plaza, stay to the right, make a left at the (I believe) 1st stop light. The kennel (and central lost and found) will be first, followed by the Guest Drop Off area, followed by the Polynesian.

Yes each park has them although not every park has a parking lot where you can go close by. MGM is one I can think of quickly. AK might not either.

When you say kennel club, do you mean the pet kennel?

No. They have a corral to kennel children. :lmao:

Sorry. I'm just VERY bored and had this mental image of someone being confused and looking for the children's kennels. No offense, or rudeness meant. ;)

Sorry, couldn't help it but when observing the countdown in your signature and it's not about a Disney trip, got a mental image of someone developing a Disney craving after being Disney deprived for so long ... oh well never mind.

Anyway back to the topic. I was going to tell my sister, who has an RV and goes to dog shows around the country every now and then, that if she visits Disney with the dogs she had better kennel them since, if parking security sees or hears the dogs in the unattended RV they will act like frenzied airport TSA baggage handlers and quickly open the RV for inspection, and take the dogs (six of them) to the kennel anyway.

Not vey useful but, if you get to the toll booth (any park) asking for the drop off area or other directions and they want you to pay, you don't have to and then they must direct you onward to a U turn. If they don't direct you to a drop off area anyway you will have to try again at a different park hoping for a second opinion and your guest may (will have to) take the bus, monorail, etc. to the desired park.
