Is it possible to combine 2 ADRs?

I was trying to make an ADR for a party of 10 for dinner at the Plaza in early January. There was no availability on that night for a party that size. But I was able to make two reservations for parties of 5. Is it possible to get those two ADRs combined? Ideally, we'd like to be seated together/close to each other. Should we just take our chances and show up a little early and ask to be seated together? Thanks!

I would show up early and let the host know you would like to sit near each other and that you would be willing to wait a bit (if that's the case). Even if you called they would probably tell you that your whole party may not be seated together because of the size.
