Is it possible to book X-mas week at 7 months?

On Christmas day we started kicking around the idea of going to WDW next year for Christmas vacation. The problem is 3 of us own points, but not enough individually to book the reservation. 2 of them have HH points and we have VWL points. We are all dealing with banked and borrowed points. Anyway, SIL will have enough points to make the reservation in March. She has HH points, so we will have to wait until June to make the ressie. We will need a 2bdrm and a studio. We are hoping for OKW, does anyone think this is possible? While I would love to go for Christmas, I'm not going to make myself crazy if it doesn't work out.

At the 7 month window, OKW would be your best chance of getting x-mas week.It is the largest DVC resort so if you do have a"chance" it would be better at OKW than any other WDW DVC resort. You won't know until you call MS at the 7 month window.
You can always waitlist and keep yor fingers crossed.You may want to have back up plans also.

I agree with ncligs; your best shot is at OKW. You can call MS at 8 or 9 months out to get a sense of OKW availability over Xmas. Good Luck,

You may find someone who will trade VWL points for HH points. I dont think its a real good chance, but give it a try.

Best shot is OKW---we got them 30 days out for the Millenium!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Talk about phyched...Lots of Luck
