We loved the walk over to Kidani, so will definitely do that one day on our next trip. Where are we best to head to for a view of the cute little guys? And the Okapi too, of course.

The difference is that the ones at Mara are refrigerated. If you eat them cold, they will be a different consistency (and to me that means they will taste different!) - but last time I bought them at Mara, I practiced patience and allowed them to get to room temperature. Then they tasted like the ones at Boma!
DD and I will be checking in at Kidani in 10 days!!
I think they also have ones without alcohol in them at the Mara (in the original recipe there is a liqueur used to make them). So if anyone cannot have alcohol in their food, that's a great chance to try ZDs.
As RachelTori said, they are chilled at the Mara - I actually prefer them that way!

When I was there a almost a week ago I asked if they had alcohol free ones. They did not. The CM stated that their isn't alcohol content just flavor. She stated it is safe for all to eat.
But if you cannot have alcohol then I would make sure.
SUMMARY: DO NOT pay DELUXE prices for this resort.
We wait for a bus to leave typically 15 - 20 minutes with the following exceptions: once a bus was there plus one time it was 45 minutes. Then at least half of the trips we have had to stand because the us driver went to Kadani first - which appears to be standard.
It must have gotten pretty bust since 11/28-12/4 because we never had to wait more than 10 minutes for a bus. I guess living in a big city all my life I am used to waiting for buses. The wait didn't bother me when we had to. I have used the buses at other resorts to get to them from the parks like BC and experienced the same. You may have just missed a bus... so that would explain the wait.
All the buses stop at Kidani first then Jambo except DTD. But this is the case with many resorts with multi bus stops. I also saw many people having to stand on the monorails getting on at GF since it stops at CR and Poly. And when I stayed at CSR the last bus stop would have standing room only.
I really was expecting longer waits with all the complants on these boards... but I found the buses fast and the bus drivers VERY nice and accomidating.
I hope the rest of your trip went well. Glad you enjoyed your room.

Strange, the sign that used to be next to them at Boma specifically said: "contains alcohol". Perhaps they have changed that? And I am pretty sure that I had seen both varieties at Mara...
I agree, if you have any real problems with a possible ingredient, make sure to speak to a manager. They have a book for everything sold at that CS location listing all ingredients!
