Is it okay to talk about other stuff than Disney here?

I love Disney World and I've been there several times, so it's not like I need a whole lot of planning advice. I'm just looking to make friends and talk about "stuff". Is that okay, or should I stick to Disney subjects?

This one, the Community Board (the CB), is really for just about anything you want to talk or chit-chat about, within the guidelines of the DIS itself. Hi SugarBear and Welcome! I came to the Dis when I was planning my first trip to WDW back in 2000. I never came to the CB until a few months ago. Now I hardly go to the Disney stuff anymore. I love it here. The people are wonderful and so caring. You can come here when something is wrong and discuss it with *friends*, or when you're happy about something, we're happy right along with you. It's a great community of people.
