thankyou

Yes you can wear wedding attire in Disney hotels, just not in theme parks.

Yep! She's right, you can wear them in both of those hotels without a problem! Have fun! :thumbsup2

why not in theme park?
My guess is that they don't want someone strolling into the park and having their wedding at Disney without specific permission. Plus, it might be a crowd control issue....you know....everyone will want to look at the bride and groom. That's just my guess! :)

Thanks guys that is such a relief.I was dreading having to carry 3 sets of clothes to change into to our wedding.12 days to go yeheeeeeeee!!!!

It is generally fine to wear your wedding dress in the hotels, but I have seen them shuttling brides around the GF. They don't want to brides to come into contact with each other - the universe might implode - so the FTW staff will try to arrange things so that the WDW bride doesn't feel upstaged by other brides wandering around the lobby. Makes sense, but also makes things a bit more complicated if you're planning on coming into the GF at a time when another bride is having a photo shoot in the lobby.

Cheers!

We had our vow renewal at the WP and then moved to the GF for our "reception", followed by dinner at 1900 Park Fare. There was at least one other bride in the GF lobby while I was there. It was no big deal.

thanks
mommy poppins-I didnt want to worry about outstaging otherbrides and treading on there toes.I think it's great to see other brides and hope they are having an excellent time too.
