Is it ok if we pay OOP for one (or a couple) of DDs meals (10-so she's paying for adult meals, but she won't always want to order from them), and then DH and I can use her credits at a signature restaurant?

Make sure to alert your server that you will only be using 2 credits vs 3 at the beginning of the meal. Then, check your receipt at the end of meal.

We had an issue few years back doing the same thing (we paid OOP for 1 meal but were still charged the DP credit). Was able to get it resolved the next day when i realized what had happend:), but i make sure it check the receipt now.

I have a similar question. My sister and her family will be going to Disney next year for free dining. Her husband and stepson will be leaving a day earlier than my sister and their son. Can my sister use the leftover dining credits on that last day? It makes sense to me that she can but no one wants to 'break any rules'.

The credits don't belong to an individual in the room. They're pooled to be used by the occupants of the room in any way those occupants choose to use them (adult and child credits are in separate pools but all the adult credits are in one pool and all child credits are in one pool). There are no rules stating that the credits must be used in any particular way other than anybody 10 and up must use adult credits and anybody 3-9 must use child credits.

The short answer is that yes your sister can use those extra credits without breaking any rules.

Thank you! I was 99% sure but wanted to be 100%. I knew I would get the answer here! :thumbsup2

To be clear on the policy:

1) Anyone on the reservation may use any of the credits on that reservation (with the normal exception of adult vs. child, when applicable).

2) Credits for the reservation may not be used to buy meals for anyone not on the reservation.
