Is it ok to explore the ship??

Kind of a dumb question... maybe I'm thinking too much like Jack Dawson on the Titanic!

I am just wondering if they frown upon 'exploring' areas where you don't necessarily need to be. With the obvious exception of the bridge, do they care if you are looking through other areas, such as the restaurants when they're closed, for example? One thing I wish I had done on our last cruise was to take an elevator down to deck 1 and just look around and work my way back up! Do they prohibit passengers in the crews quarters areas? I am just the curious type and I want to see the whole ship! What're the rules?

I don't think you are allowed to do that, Beano. For example, the restaurants are locked when it is not normal dining hours.

You could take advantage of all the Behind the Scenes tours. They take you to the kitchen, backstage at the theater, etc.

All other areas are clearly marked "Cast Members Only" . .

Pretty much what Deb said. :) You can peek in the adult club areas during the day and if a restaurant's doors are open you can peek inside, but those are areas you could see another time when they are open.

The areas that your allowed to see are all easily accessible and everything else is off limits.

If you do want to see something a little "behind the scenes" do the walk all the way around the Promenade Deck on Deck 4. Part of it goes inside the ship and you can see some equipment there. :)
