We will be in WDW 12/27-1/3. DH and DS celebrate their birthdays 1/11 and 1/14. Is it OK to get birthday buttons for them? I know it's early, so it may not be kosher.

What are your thoughts?

I say go for it!! DH is turning 40 on 12/3 but we can't get to Disney until 12/17. He is going to wear his birthday button anyway! Too bad you won't be there on their actual birthdays....starting in 2009 you get into Disney for free on your birthday!

I may need to wear my birthday button Nov 3rd - bday is Nov 13th - leaving early Nov 4th (returning Dec 4th)

Last year I was there for my birthday, January 3rd. This year we leave on the 2nd, but I'm going to wear my button. We have AP's so the free admission isn't a draw, but I'll still feel like celebrating!!!

Yes! We celebrated my DH's birthday a week early at Crystal Palace! They asked us when we checked in if we were celebrating anything special and we told them that his birthday was next week , but they still gave him a birthday cupcake.:cool1:

I am going the week after I turn 40 and I'm wearing one. It is my birthday trip but because of school, we can't go the week of my birthday.

My birthday is 1/15. PS wear a button!!! It's the vacation of a lifetime!!!

When I called to make ADRs for our upcoming trip, the CM asked me if we were celebrating anything, and I mentioned that we are celebrating my DP's birthday a week early at one particular dinner, since it was the last night of our trip and it's a signature restaurant. The CM not only insisted that we mark the dinner reservation as a birthday, but that she update our resort reservation, so that DP would get a birthday button when we check in that she could wear all week, because "you never know when she might get a little extra pixie dust for her birthday." (She even wanted update all of the dining reservations for the week as birthdays, but I told her that DP would kill me!) I say definitely get the buttons.

:hippie:

My question is this: when you get the button, do you wear it the whole trip or just one day? My husband and I will be down there celebrating my birthday (which is the saturday before we leave). I dont' know if I should wear my button just one day or everyday.
