Is it Mellow Mushroom (HHI) that has high speed internet access?

Our real estate agent may need to email us while we are at HHI and I am bringing a laptop. Where can I go to view emails from her? I thought I read that the Mellow Mushroom has free internet access-- is that right?

Yes -- at least this is what I've been told. I've never used it personally.

Some people have arranged with a local provider to get temporary access while they're there; others have opened up a new AOL account to get the free hours, then cancel it after the vacation. But, either of those two options IS dial-up, so it is s..l..o..w if you're used to hi-speed.

You can use dialup from your room - the phones all have a dataport to comnnect. Cost is just for the local call (0.35 for DVC members).

I use Internet Service of the Low Country when at HH - they offer a visitors rate of $10 for a week with a local access number.

I think there are some places for WiFi access, but for checking email, your own room may be the simplest. SOme have used computers at the library if they don't have a laptop with them.

Yes, Mellow Mushroom has it. Order a calzone while you're at it--they're really good! You could also try Atlanta Bread Co. for free access (at least, I think it's free). Good luck on the real estate stuff!!!
