Maybe I missed it, but how did the police/reporters even find out?

The father (I think) woke up and noticed the baby was missing and called the police. They found the car with the baby in it.

OMG, that is horrible. He needs to be locked up. I can't believe how his family is reacting. If my "brother" would do this, I would help lock him up for endagering my nephew. The poor baby, can't even defend himself...unbelievable.

He called the baby's mother to see if she had the child, then the police. The baby's mother went looking for the car and baby and found it two blocks from the father's house. She called dad to tell him to bring the keys, she was attempting to break the window when an officer on routine patrol noticed her and thought she was breaking into the car, she explained that it was her baby locked in the car then dad showed up with the keys. He has been charged with child endangerment and is currently out on $75,000 bail.

The whole family should be charged!!!!!!!!!!!! How could they let him get in a car, with his child, knowing he was drunk.....Someone had to know!!!!

Probably being neglected from the sound of it.

I have had the unfortunate displeasure of going to a childs birthday party where it is nothing more then an excuse for the parents to invite all of THEIR friends and drink and party. No kids around for the birthday boy to play with. Just a bunch of adults drinking beer and smoking weed. Needless to say, we didn't stay long and don't plan on going to another one of those types of parties ever again.
