My wife and I are doing a split stay at the end or June. We've made our ADR's already, even got a BOG dinner..........finally! :D A couple of weeks ago I was able to add the ROL Dining Package without a problem. :-) This past week I was able to make 2 updates to our dinner plans at Flying Fish and at Trattoria al Forno...........all with normal dining times. Then this afternoon I updated our ROL package from dinner to lunch........again with great times.

Now I know we aren't talking CRT or BOG here but.........I'm not having trouble with times or availability on most of our ADR's. Is this just because of choices....the fact that we're just a party of 2....or is there something else. I would have thought the ROL package, because its a guaranteed seat, would be tougher.........but it really isn't o_O

What's going on.........?? This is summer time too..........

I agree, we arrive 7/8 and switching things around are pretty easy, for now. I think once people get their plans set, things may get scarce.

I think things are easier than our March, July, or December 2016 trips. I just booked a BOG 8am PPO breakfast for 8/1. I wonder if attendance is going to be down.

My husband and I are heading down 6/7 and I have seen the same thing. It has been really easy to change around ADRs. No complaints here! :worship:

I just played around on MDE and could easily book Le Cellier, BOG and CRT on July 4th. In the 20+ years we have been going to WDW this has never happened.

For our May trip I've gotten just about every ADR we wanted, including Ohanas dinner, ROL dining package and a California Grill Brunch on Mother's Day, which I thought would be impossible to get. I got a late start planning because we were originally booked in March and had to change to May. All of our ADRs are decent times, but we did have to settle for a later Crystal Palace than we like. Very happy with ADRs.

Found the same thing with our July trip. If we wanted we could eat at Cinderella, BoG, or Chef Mickey's 3 meals a day, every day for all 8 days of our stay. I have no idea why literally everything is available. I told my husband I'm paranoid that the reservation system is broken and we will get to our first table service meal and attempt to check in along with 8000 other people who also think they have an ADR that doesn't really exist.

I have modified my ADRs for the last 2 weeks of June several times without problems as well

In our seven years of going in August, we have gotten every single time and place we wanted lol its just not that busy
I fear going another time of year, after reading on here how difficult some of these ressies are to get. August is so easy

I never seem to have much trouble in the summer. It's the fall/free dining months that are the real problem! :-)

I used to be far more scarred of summer crowds from reading things on here, but then experiencing it myself the last few summers, in some ways I prefer that time of year over others.

I wouldn't be surprised if attendance will be down again this summer. Either that, or more people are refusing to pay the onsite restaurant prices.
