Is it me or is MGM not so toddler friendly?

MGM was each of my kids' favorite as toddlers. Everyone seems to just relax there after the bustle of MK. All smiles, no fussiness. Plenty to do to not be bored, generally not as crowded.

Our 2 1/2 year old really enjoyed MGM Studios. The Stars and Motor Cars Parade was her favorite parade and there are so many different characters to meet. Of course, we happened to be there the end of August for the Wiggles concerts...which were a big hit. The Playhouse Disney Live (Bear in the Big Blue House show) also captivated her.

While it may not be our favorite park, we had a great time.

Had the Wiggles been there when we were there, MGM would have been a HUGE hit!! I guess we'll just have to try some more things there next time. maybe if we do it early in the week, it won't seem so much less interesting than MK or Epcot to me!!

My almost 3 year old son really enjoyed MGM Studios. He's small enough that he really enjoys the shows and the backlot tour. If anything, I think Animal Kingdom is less toddler friendly than any of the other parks. About the only thing DS could do was the Lion King show and the Safari ride. Not much fun beyond that. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the park for the most part, but it's a lot of walking for not much of anything super special. So if and when we go back next year, we'll probably skip Animal Kingdom and spend time at the other 3 parks. JMHO.

My twins just turned 4 and MGM was their favorite park...tied with Epcot. We just returned yesterday from a 9 day trip.

It was very very busy...especially MK our last night. The crowds were like the middle of July.

We were there in December when our son was 2 years, 3 months and we loved MGM. Magic Kingdom was tops for him, of course, but MGM was his second favorite. Animal Kingdom was our least favorite, really. We ended up at MGM on most days.
