Is it me, or are the boards a bit quiet at the moment?

... I usually check the boards a few times a day, but don't have web access at night, so am away 5pm - 0930ish next day... recently the number of new threads seems to be a bit low... is everyone in Florida?

Mike it's one of those things :) Sometimes the number of posts fluctuates.

Right now, we have a period of time after the Summer rush and where the October holidaymakers are nearing their trip and have probably got a lot of their questions covered.

But it can vary day to day, week to week - please always feel free to join us on the Community board for some off-topic threads and there's always GREAT trip reports lovingly compiled and a great read on the UK TR board :)

I think that you are right. I check the boards during the day Monday to Friday, got to love internet access at work. Usually I am out and about at the weekend and very rarely check out the DIS until Monday and there doesnt seem to be that many posts.

I am one of the lucky people to be going over Halloween and at the moment I am constantly looking for new information.

Mike, I think everybody is suffering from depression LOL!!!!

Its that end of the year time, when most have to wait until next year, or most have gone already!.

Personally I have to wait for 2005, but im checking a few times a day at present seeing as im at home.

Will try and post some new threads to keep you occupied!:D

I think we are among the fortunate few who still have their hols to look forward to. I'm so busy between now and December I might find it difficult to post.
;)

I will be posting my plans shortly but am just waiting for Jane at GOAL to get back with any ideas for our hols!

Thanks everyone... we've made things a bit busier now!
WDWfan,uk - re: trip reps... I've exhausted them now! I've even been trying to sift thru the US trip reps, but the focus doesn't seem the same as the Brits point of view! I do trawl the whole boards regularly and participate a bit on the 'overseas' threads.. some of the cultural differences are great!:D

Mike

Have you looked at the trip report index and read them all??? I have :)

I enjoy our Brit reports better than the US ones too.....

When I am back I will post mine then you will have something to read!! ;)

Mike ~

I have to agree with Kaylee. I just love reading trip reports and I do think ours are better. When I return from our hols it is my intention to make a stab at posting my first trip report.

:o I've still not posted mine from the last two years . . . every year I say I'm going to, but then read someone elses that I think are far more interesting and don't then post my own:rolleyes:

.. I've not actually read them all but have searched for relevance to times of year, venues and authors I liked on other reports. I've started quite a lot and not enjoyed the style (one was written in CAPITALS and I felt like the writer was SHOUTING AT ME!), but I've perservered! I've already posted that I intend to do a trip rep in December, so if I keep saying it I might be more committed! (or perhaps I will be committed after the attempt... to somewhere warm and padded!):D
