We go to WDW at least twice a year. I love Riverside. But the tide is changing.
I would like to know why the main pool at Riverside is freezing. The quiet pools are well heated.

This was a main topic while we were sitting at the pool. Someone would ask, "Isn't this pool heated" and was told it was 81 degrees.

Another person got the response, "the manager likes to keep it cool" HUH

Another person was told they could swim at FRENCH QUARTER the pool is warmer.

Also we were down in October of 2004 went back in May of 2005 and THE HOT TUB IS STILL OUT OF COMMISSION.

IS IT JUST ME.????????????????

and, as you said, the main pool was COLD at night, but the quiet pools were comfortably warm. Someone else staying there told us he had a recent back injury and was really looking forward to using the hot tub, only to find it was being repaired...for his whole trip! They told him that it would be fixed by last Monday, but he was leaving early that morning.
Loved everything else about POR, though!

Funny you mention that..when we stayed at the CBR the main pool was freezing! The quiet pools were empty & warm...needless to say we stayed there.
