Is it just me?

Or do the proponents for FP+ who are sharing their experience seem unbelievably giddy about it? Those that don't like it seem to admit that if certain parts were run differently it could be ok. I guess what I am trying to say is it seems as if the proponents are trying awfully hard to prove those whose opinion differs woefully wrong.

Just my 2 cents.

I see it on both sides at times. Some of those who like it do their best to prove others wrong and vice versa too at times.

Neither side is wrong. What works for one person might not work for another.

I think people who return from a great trip are giddy in general. Some people are lucky enough to have a trip that isn't riddled with problems and have technology that works for them. Not everyone has this experience, but I don't think that people sharing their reports are trying to rub salt in anyone's wounds.

Or it could be that for many people it was neither good enough nor bad enough to start a thread about, so you are only really seeing the extremes. I used it. It generally worked as intended. I had a problem the first day. Disney provided an acceptable solution.

It's like how if you have a bad meal at a restaurant you are more likely to write a review on Yelp. As a result you get all these people dreading their vacation because of the negative reviews on this board, thinking magic bands are going to destroy the Magic Kingdom.

I can tell you that any company that makes such a sizable capital investment and is as adept at social marketing as Disney would establish as part of that project a team of marketing interns who's sole purpose in life is to seed social media with positive comments.

Thank you. Can we move past the MB's which I am willing to concede because I could care less what I use to pay or get into my room with? Versus FP+ which I absolutely know is not useful to the way we tour the parks.

Exactly. Do you notice how they never allow a single comment on their Disney Parks Blog that comes across as negative or of serious concern in regards to MM+? It's such a sham. If they would allow people to speak their minds/voice concerns on that site then I think they would get some good feedback.

I almost go into a diabetic coma every time I read their sugar-coated crap on that site. They are a total joke.

Not sticking up for Disney, but that's just not true.

That's a Disney-owned site. Why would they post negative comments?

Oh, I don't know....so people could give their real opinion of it....to the people causing all the issues? It's a novel concept, I realize. Hell, I'd settle on if Disney actually surveyed every person who has "tested" this thing but they can't seem to pull that off either.:rolleyes1

Well I can only answer for myself and our experience. We were hesitant for it but ended up loving it. It worked perfectly for us and we were able to change our plans the morning of and update fp+ accordingly. We walked onto everything we wanted to and the ones we couldn't we had fp+ so it worked. For us. We travel with our 3 yr old dd so touring for us is different than families with older children or just couples.

I don't think that is the appropriate place to voice your opinion if your goal is for the creators of it to listen and change. That is where you want to voice a negative opinion to make others feel negatively towards the whole thing. Like this whole website. Let people have their own experiences. Disney has phone numbers and email addresses if you want to voice a complaint.

Absolutely correct.

Will they send me a cool form letter for my troubles? :lmao:

My two cents?

After your other thread about not going back (after you get this next trip in :lmao:), you have the nerve to call out others for being "too Giddy"? Now that's funny. :rotfl2:

What category does this fall into "Theme Parks Attractions and Stratagies"

Or is this a stab on something you don't like so your trying to convince others not to like it.
