Is it just me or do your friends think you're insane for going to Disney so much or being obsessed with it like I am? I mean I don't care if they think I'm insane or not lol but just saying. My friends are always like, "You're going back again???"

I don't go often enough, but here it's common for families to go once a year (which I always tell them I extremely jealous of )

My best friend always playfully teases me when I talk about going to WDW next year or scoring a day to Disneyland this year...

Some of my friends think it's weird that I enjoy going to theme parks so much. Since we all live around in this area, they think it gets boring after going maybe twice or so in a small time period. I enjoy going every week. It helps me get through the week knowing I'll get to see some of my favorite people that work at the park (mostly Universal, since Disney is farther away).

They just don't get it. They enjoy their mall visits, while I enjoy going to Universal often, with the occasional dose of Disney.

Yeah, people are like, "seriously, AGAIN?!" but I love it sooo much! I went last year at about this time, and going again in June. This will be my 5th trip and most of my friends have been 0-1 times.

I do have a few Disney lovin' friends though, it's nice

weird this thread comes up cause this just happened to me today! i leave this saturday and woke up this morning with a sore throat and runny nose. i passed around my absence form to all the teachers and all my friends go... what numer trip is this...1,000? but come choir i told my director i had a sore throat and she let me sit the rehearsal out. i am seated next to my best friend who was clueless about my upcomeing trip. she asks y i'm not singing and i tell her. she's like "we'll now you have an excuse to miss school!" then i fill her in on the disney trip, and she replies "what, is this the 100th time you've gone? i mean you'v gone so much does it matter if you miss one trip? besides universal is better." totally. serious! i was ready to cry! every disney trip matters and i know everyone on this site would agree that with all the money and planning that goes into this trip nobody would like to e left behind sick all day in the room! she obvioulsy doesn't understand the disney magic and in my horse voice i had to explain why disney is so important to me. to me it seemed as an insult more than her just stating her opinion.

It's what makes me most happiest and its part of who i am. Im not going to say i don't love Disney. They think its cool. They always love hearing stories about my cousins and me in the parks. Its pretty cool.

All the time!! I used to go twice a year, but now I only go once. But, still I get this reaction a lot. I just try to block it out, and think about actually going.

thing for my friends..lol. I love telling my friends about all these stories frm my trip

my friends don't reallyy tease me because theyy don't know how much i love it. But if theyy did i wouldn't care because to me loving disney is who i am.
