... or is has this forum been slow the last several days? I am on a pretty quick DSL connection and pages are taking forever to load.

In addition I have gotten "database error" messages on several occasions and not been able to connect at all.

Maybe its time for a server upgrade?

I am also receiving the blank emails. Must be a admin problem. I am sure they are trying to work on it after all the problems everyone is having today.

Glad to know it isn't just me!! First the pages took forever and a day to load, then I got the "database error" message. Now I'm back in but getting blank e-mails. Think I'll turn off e-mail notification until this is resolved!

Also, did anyone else notice that when you click to post your message, instead of the usual "Thank you for your post..." it says something like "could not find phrase..." and then links you back to the thread?....very odd!

Yes!!! What the heck is the database error message?

I've been a member for quite a few years, but lately with all the problems encountered, like the above, or typing a reply only to have it go no where is making me switch to mouseplanet.com. I don't have alot of time to sit and keep trying, day after day, to get disboards to load and run. You would think for the size of this board, better protocol would govern. It's been this way for a few weeks, was great after the upgrade but has just about gone unusable.

I would rather have a DIS where we get blank emails instead of the DIS being down. Things happen sometimes and we just have to live with it.

It's not just you. I couldn't log on at all yesterday & I was so bummed. I kept trying to log on even though I knew I couldn't and it just added to my frustrations. I have no idea why it is so slow though...
