Or is it 10x worse around your house when DH is sick?!?!? I don't know which I'd rather have, the kids sick, or him....but I'm starting to think if I had to choose, it'd be the kids - even they don't whine THAT much!! :sad2:

When my DH gets the common cold, you would swear he's suffering from Ebola.;)

Oh yes, it is worse. Of course it is worse, because he catches a "BAD" cold. Like, who catches a "GOOD" cold:confused3 Everything is worse for him, and THANK god he does not get sick often..

Hugs to you.:grouphug:

Hands down I would prefer all 3 of my dds, plus my 2 dogs be sick before my DH. Heck, all of them sick at the same time would be better!

See you're in the Chicago burbs - hope your DH doesn't have the same thing that's been traveling around my sister's house for the last two weeks! My poor niece has been sick for 10 days!

Well, I may be in the minority but my hubby is a rock. He has a job that requires him to be there no matter how sick he is.....he carries that over to the homelife. He can be sick as a dog and still trying to take care of us.:)

I'm the same way ::yes::

Actually, the last couple times I've been sick (stomach flu types of things), they've all been while my family was away on vacation, so I had no other choice but to take care of myself. Heck, even when I had surgery, within a couple days I was doing most of my usual stuff around the house. :)

Ever think about renting him out? I'd take him until DH gets better! ;)

Yup - I have a feeling that's what we've got here. We've basically been giving it to each other the past couple of weeks (me and the kids) but it finally got to DH. He just got out of bed an hour ago, and has been moaning all day.

Man here and Yes I fit the group . I have broken bones (many )and never taken a pair killer. Wrecked my motorcycles many times even once at 70mph still nothing.Have had many Kidney stones (need painkillers for them) and just suck it up and try to keep going.

But when I get sick it does something to my head and I flip out into a 2yearold. I have no idea why but I just want to be left alone and crank the select comfort bed to 0 so I just get absorbed into it.

I remember when I was dating my husband & he called me early one afternoon to tell me he had come home sick from work. He had a willybadcooold, poor baby. He wanted me to go to the store and buy him some cold medicine, some cough drops, some Nyquil, some tissues, and some juice. That day should have been my warning, but I ignored it.

:headache: The DH had surgery last week, he is going to be off work another 5 weeks:eek: he is a workalohic:sad2: he wants to go to work with me Thursday and hangout:sad2: :confused3

He has been calling me, faxing me, calling me, faxing me:headache: He wants to know why I get up at such and such time and our DD gets up at such such time, why why why why, blahblahblahblahblah:headache:

I'd rather amputate with a dull butter knife than have DH sick.

Why can't the man throw-up quietly? Does he have to announce to the whole world *what* he's doing? I swear he wakes the dead. He is just awful.

:sad2: Mine was in the powder room throwing up:sad2: He kept yelling "Berrrthhha, Beeeeerrrtttha! Bertha!" This was 3 in the morning. I tried ignoring him:sad2: He called me from his cell phone:confused3 He wanted me to bring him a glass of water.:confused3 I told him there was water and cups in there:confused3 He claimed bathroom water tastes bad:confused3 I mean, he was throwing up, everything is going to taste bad:confused3 :confused3 :headache:

Oh my gosh! You ladies and gents are makiing me LAUGH! I would have agreed with you a few days ago as my DH was sick. I am sick now and I realized he wasn't exagerating one bit! I'm the one being the big baby! lol

when DH2B gets sick....even a little cold, it's always "omg i think i'm going to die!" he's such a baby. i think women just handle sickness and disease better than men do.

I hope your name is Bertha & that's not his throwing up noise. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

And he takes his cell phone into the bathroom with him when puking? Oh my.

Mine gets a "bad" cold because, according to his male logic, he usually gets it from the kids and "everyone knows" that the more times a cold is "passed around" the worse it is for the next person that gets it, :confused3 ...
Uh huh...whatever... get well soon honey... PLEASE

Naaah, that is where he recharges it at night, that way when the alarm goes off on it a 4 in the morning:sad2: he has to get up:sad2: but it usually takes him about 4 minutes:headache:
