Is it gone or did we just miss it?

We just got back from a trip and on the day we went to IOA we crossed over the bridge and was going to take the shortcut through Seuss land back to HP but it was blocked or not there or something. We were confused. Use to you cross over the bridge and take your first left and it cut through as a short cut back to HP. But this time we missed it or it was changed? Which is it? Is the shortcut still there and we just spaced out and missed it or did they change that short cut and take it away?
We were just there back in April and I swear the shortcut was there in April. Am I hallucinating or did we just miss the turn? There was a little shop/stand counter service looking building there. Green.

We just took that very shortcut past the old Green Eggs and Ham counter service this October. Maybe they were doing touch-up work in that area and closed it off for the day...but the turnoff is still there for sure.

It's still there but it's blocked off for refurb right now.

We just got back and were thinking the same thing about the path. My husband and I were back and forth about whether there was one or not. He swore there was, but I couldn't remember. It was not there last week. So none of us are losing our minds!
